Shipping Information

Most items leave our facility within 1-3 business days from when the order is placed. We ship Monday, Wednesday, and Friday excluding US Federal Holidays. All orders placed after noon, CST, will be shipped out the next day that we process and ship orders (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). We ship via UPS Ground,  UPS Surepost, USPS Priority Mail International, and  USPS Priority Mail. You may select your carrier preference during checkout, or select the Flat Rate option  (which is only for the Contiguous U.S) to get the cheapest available.  If you choose the Flat Rate option, that means it will be shipped out via UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or USPS Priority Mail at our discretion.

What is UPS Surepost? UPS Surepost a shipping method provided by UPS working together with USPS. UPS will transport the package for the longest part of its trip to the destination city’s Post Office, then USPS will take it the rest of the way to the shipping address provided. It can take a couple days longer than UPS Ground, but it does save considerably on shipping & handling costs.  All orders should arrive within the standard 5-7 business days.

Free shipping:   We do offer free shipping for orders over $200.  This is only applicable to the Contiguous U.S.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii: We can only ship to these destinations via USPS Priority Mail.  Our system cannot accurately calculate the shipping cost when more than one item is ordered.  It is something that we are constantly trying to solve, but in the meantime please feel free to email us a request for a quote.  We’re more than happy to assist! Please be aware that UPS Ground does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

International Shipping

We currently ship within the United States only. While we hope to expand our shipping options internationally in the future, we do not offer international shipping at this time.

Return Policy

Not satisfied with your order? You may return any new, unused items sold by MacheteSpecialists.com within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the cost of merchandise only.  All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer when returning non-faulty products.  A restocking fee may be deducted from your refund, depending on: how many items are returned, frequency of returns, and/or if a promo/discount was applied to the original order.

Upon receiving the item, we will inspect to ensure it is in its original condition, and issue a refund for the cost of the merchandise.  If you would like to exchange your order for another product or have questions about a return, please email [email protected] to receive the quickest response.

Items Damaged in Shipping

Please do not be alarmed if the shipping carton is damaged. This sometimes happens, but the tool inside is rarely damaged. Before refusing shipment, please inspect the tool and you will usually find it is in fine condition. If the tool is damaged, please email [email protected] and we will arrange for return and replacement. If your item has slight surface rust then apply some oil, file the blade, and/or use steel wool until desired. Learn more about caring for your machete.

Payment Information

We accept all major credit cards as a form of payment.  Please do not send payment in the form of cash, personal check, money order or cashier’s checks.  We are strictly an online business which means all of the payments must be submitted electronically via our website which uses 256-bit SSL Encryption.
