The “pata de cuche” machete represents, in many ways, the prototypical machete shape. Fairly evenly weighted along the entire blade, it is easily slipped in a sheath for portability.

I have now used this machete almost every day for the last two years it holds a good edge all day can easily chop when you need it to and quick enough in the hand for grass slashing I own several Imacasa machetes and am never disappointed
