Super tough blade that is very sharp out of box. Just did a bit of further sharpening to make it razor sharp. Easy to sharpen. Hold is edge well over some medium duty chopping usage. A bit on the heavy side but very well balanced. Much better blade than my Schrade and Honshu. Looks super badass too. Definately a machete/sword winner here.
