The Condor Bolo Machete is built to handle the toughest brush clearing jobs, thus making it a workhorse blade. Designed for tough chopping and slashing power, this blade is great for cutting down or through the thickest of vegetation. The bolo design with the bulbous tip adds weight and strength to the end giving it more chopping power. It works hard so you don’t have to.

Timothy Williams –
This is is my absolute favorite machete but not for $62. Shop around! This thing is a beast. The blade is thicker than a typical machete. It’s an unreal chopper. It will out chop a hatchet of similar length. It’s not so great for grass and free hanging vines. For those, you’ll need a stick to support the martial to be cut so it doesn’t just move out of the way. The top of the tip isn’t actually sharp. A number of my friends have bought their own after using mine. All of ours differ slightly from the picture in that the blade is wider near the tip and this makes the tip less acute (pointy). This is all for the good. The wider blade and less acute point are better for chopping and digging. The sheath is well made with the exception of the swiveling belt loop. The rivet is too narrow for the weight it carries and will pull out eventually. I replaced mine with a big grommet with no further issues
